House: 9, Lime Grove Bury
This house was built last autumn at a cost (excluding fencing and layout) of about £1350. The walls are finished in roughcast and the roof with serrated red tiles. (Note full description not visible on microfilm copy). Illustrated plans dated October 1922. [Builder 18 April 1924 Page 634]
ARCHITECTS' WORKING DRAWINGS SERIES. Designed in a more fanciful manner than is common just now, this house contains more accommodation than might be suspected from its exterior. It was built by Messrs. Horrocks and Andrew, of Bolton, at cost of £1,326, the walls being covered with rough-cast and the roof with French tiles. The architect is J. D.
