Mr. W. H. Orry's, ladies' and gentlemen's outfitting establishment at the corner of Church Street and Market Street is one of the features of the town. This week Mr. Orry has initiated another great development by opening extensive premises at the opposite corner of Church Street and Bank Hey Street. The new shop opened on Saturday, and it has been already greatly admired. Situated at the busiest corner of Blackpool, the new establishment has a frontage of seventy feet, with four large windows and an " island " window in Church Street, and two large windows in Bank Hey Street. The transformation of the old vaults of the County and Lane Ends Hotel into the new shop has been carried out under the direction of Mr. R. B. Mather, the well-known Blackpool architect, and Messrs. G. Blakey and Sons, of Wakefield have been responsible for the handsome shop front and fittings. The front is of mahogany, and the artistic interior are in light oak. The new premises are to be devoted exclusively to the display of gentlemen's outfitting requirements, and there will not be a finer stock in Lancashire. The older premises at the corner of Market Street will be used entirely for ladies' outfitting and millinery, and the removal of the gentlemen's department to the new premises will give much more accommodation for the wants of the feminine community.
