The Memorial stones and brick of the Central Mission Hall were laid on Saturday 8 April 1903 and the building opened in the autumn of 1905. An illustration of the building appeared in the Builders Journal of 27 December 1905. 

The new Central Wesleyan Methodist hall which has been erected in Gladstone Road, Eccles, at a cost of £4,000 (including land and furnishings) provides seating for six hundred persons, and in the school room underneath there is room for 400 children.
